Technical Information

Technical documentation, provides links to software from our ftp server and outlines a few projects that can be built for use around the house.

Projects

This section contains projects that Hyper Quantum people have been engaged in. These are all in the public domain (GPL applies). They may be useful to some.

  • Light Switch: circuit and software for the control of house lights, which factors in manual light switches to also toggle the light switch state. The lights can be controlled through a timer (set up through an XML file) and via a socket port, where a computer controlled via a voice recognition system could issue commands (or someone may write a Google Home app to control).

Technical Documents

This section contains technical documents, including a few pointers to documents at other sites. Usage of any of those documents must be in accordance with that site's policy.

  • Thermomix Innards Photographic details of some of the inner set up of a Thermomix TM5. I had an issue with the scales occasionally working and not working, often changing after doing something like kneading. Rather than sending it off for repair in these COVID times where the parcel delivery system is overloaded, as it really looked like a loose connector somewhere, I thought I would open it up and reseat connectors. Here is what I found.
